BLOGGING LAYOUTS

blogging layouts

True story. Even if I make my own WordPress themes, I would like to find and free theme with unique and eye-catching layouts. Then when I need a new Create topic, I am pleased with them ideas for colors, fonts, graphics and layout.

I recently had installed a new WordPress blog and the first Post written. I wanted a closer look at some of the topics, which I had collected, so I uploaded it to be activated on my server and she started one after another.

While the screen Manage Themes, was a particular theme, the screen does not print preview. I have many times about this behavior before, but I still have never a problem with one of them will not activate. Thinking that maybe screenshot-file was not available, I clicked on to activate it anyway.

My blog was empty. I stared at a white screen. The post I had just made would not come and neither in the wordpress login screen. I had to log on to cPanel to remove the blog and then reinstall it. If this were one of my Blogs would be established, I have been hurt, losing everything.

I am the subject immediately deleted from my hard drive and since I emptied trash, so it will not happen again. In hindsight, I would return to the site I have made, it reported to have gone.

I come with some tips for those with open issues such as wordpress.

  • Do not download any issue if it from a reputable author.
  • Always do export database before you topics. Here's how:
  • Login to your Hosting Account Control Panel.
  • Go phpMyAdmin.
  • On the left side of the screen the databases with a naming convention as _wrdpx, where X is a Number.
  • To create the database is one of the blog in question, click on a database that can map to the tables.
  • Click on the wp-options Table.
  • On the right side of the screen, click on the tab SQL.
  • It is already in a SQL query window. Leave it as it is.
  • Click on the button "Go" to run the query.
  • In the column you see option_name the siteurl and blogname values.
  • If it is not, go to the next database until you find it.
  • Once you find them again from the options table and click on the name of the Database. All tables in the database pointing to the right.
  • Then click the Export tab.
  • The default selection is sufficient.
  • Check the "file as an option" Save ".
  • Click on the button 'go create' to the export file.
  • Then with your FTP client to upload your blog's wp-content/plugins wp-content/themes and folders on your hard drive.

Now you can It issues a preview. If you have problems as I did

  • Uninstalling WordPress.
  • Install WordPress.
  • Just upload your files.
  • Import export.
